Amaya had spent a lot of time squinting at Lucille's bizarre text, which sounded to her like it was supposed to be some sort of code for something, but if there was some sort of secret code they were used to comminicate by, she apparently missed the memo. But she didn't want to leave her hanging, so she figured she could just make something up and clarify if needed.

And the celery stalks at midnight. Got it.

Say, I've also been meaning to ask you about some special orders on seeds. The greenhouse is looking like it could use a little make-over these days.

Ignis was giving his phone a healthy dose of an arched eyebrow at the message he received, especially once he realized that it had not been sent by Prompto, Noctis, or Gladio, as he might suspect, but instead his teaching buddy who maybe had all of two conversations with at this point.

He had a sneaking suspicion that perhaps it was intended for someone else (after all, logically speaking, Scientia and Smith could be rather close to each other on a person's list of contacts!), but perhaps it was all the earlier nonsense with Noctis coloring his humor a bit toward the absurd, he decided to simply message back with:

It's [Handwavey Time] in the morning. I am most assuredly up. Don't be too hard on yourself, you've been an absolute delight to associate with so far, though I had no idea that you truly felt that way. I must admit, I'm not entirely sure exactly what you mean by this 'next step,' but I do feel you should at least buy me dinner first. And be forewarned: I have very expensive tastes.

And, oddly enough, he felt compelled to at least give Summer a little head's up, while he was at it.
